Installation of a 15.35kW Solar System in Bella Vista, NSW
Overview: The following post describes installation of a 15.35kW solar system in Bella Vista, NSW. The system comprised of 37 X Trina VertexS 415W all-black panels, Sungrow SG15RT inverter, and a Sungrow 3ph energy meter.
RK Solar undertook the project, and the entire process, from design to installation.
Background: The client, a residential homeowner in Bella Vista, was concerned about the rising cost of electricity and the effect it was having on his day to day. After researching different solar providers and their different options, decided to work with RK Solar to design and install the Solar System.
Design: RK Solar conducted a site assessment to determine the best solar panel location and the required system size. We designed a 37-panel system using Trina VertexS 415W panels, which were chosen for their high efficiency and all-black colour.
The panels were mounted on the roof using a premium non-penetrative mounting system by Clenergy Australia. This ensured the roof’s integrity for the duration of the system.
The inverter selected was a Sungrow SG15RT, a three-phase inverter suitable for commercial and residential applications.
Installation: The installation process took two days to complete. On the first day, our solar installers installed the mounting system and ran the necessary cables for the solar system. They also installed the Sungrow SG15RT inverter. On the second day, they installed the and connected the solar panels and Sungrow’s 3ph energy meter.
Results: The solar system generated 47.5 kWh of energy on its first day of operation. The homeowner could monitor the system’s performance using a iCloud mobile app provided by Sungrow. The app provided real-time energy generation, system efficiency, and energy consumption data.
The homeowner was able to see the immediate impact of the solar system on their energy bills, with a noticeable reduction in their energy costs.
Conclusion: The installation of a 15.35kW solar system using Trina VertexS 415W panels and a Sungrow inverter was a success.
The homeowner will be able to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint while enjoying reliable and efficient energy from the sun.
