The Sonnen Evo battery also offers you peace of mind during power outages.

The sonnenBatterie Evo has backup power included for a 5kW continuous and 7kW surge capacity, helping you keep more essential appliances powered during a blackout.

The sonnenBatterie Evo comes with a Black Start function that ‘wakes’ up an AC coupled PV system even during an outage.

This means that the battery can use solar energy generated by the connected solar system to recharge itself and power backup circuits, even when the grid is down.
