Overview: The following post describes installation of a 15.35kW solar system in Bella Vista, NSW. The system comprised of 37 X Trina VertexS 415W all-black panels, Sungrow SG15RT inverter, and a Sungrow 3ph energy meter.
RK Solar undertook the project, and the entire process, from design to installation.
The New Energy Tech Consumer Code program was launched in Australia on 1st Feb 2023.
The NETCC is a voluntary code of conduct designed by peak industry and consumer bodies to build upon existing mandatory consumer protection regulations defined by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
The NETCC replaces the CEC Approved Solar Retailer program in Australia, broadening the scope of safeguarding measures to encompass not only solar and storage but also other areas. (The CEC approved solar retailer program is no longer available)
Commercial office buildings can use solar energy to offset their energy bills by installing a solar system on the building’s roof.
The solar system can convert sunlight into electricity the building uses, and excess energy can be fed back to the grid.
By generating their power, commercial buildings can reduce their reliance on the grid and save more on electricity bills.
Solar panels generate electricity throughout the year, but their biggest production happens during the summer when the energy bills are also higher because of air conditioning systems.
Recently our team installed a solar system at Greenwich, New South Wales.
This 4.92 kW solar system combines Q.MAXX (G4+ 410), Sungrow (SG5.0RS) & Sungrow’s Energy Meter.
Features of Q.Maxx (G4+ 410) Solar Panels
Q.Maxx (G4+ 410) is a type of solar panel produced by Hanwha Q Cells, a leading manufacturer of photovoltaic (PV) solar panels.
Recently the RK solar team installed a 39.84kW solar system with 25.6kWh batteries.
This is a strata building in a beautiful and affluent neighbourhood of Balmain, NSW.
The strata committee conducted an energy feasibility study through Wattblock with the funding provided by the Inner West Council. The findings of the energy feasibility report suggested by implementing a solar and battery solution there were significant savings to be made. The recommendation was to have a 40kW solar system with 26kWh batteries.
What are the benefits of batteries?
Your solar system might be producing a good amount of energy but if you don’t have the storage system to store it then excess energy is being wasted.
Don’t let that happen. While it is possible to send excess energy back to the grid, you are aware that high feed in tariffs are things of the past(It’s reducing rapidly). The best option is to store that energy in the night and use it for self consumption.
