The New South Wales government has extended the COVID-19 lockdowns for another week, until 16^th of July.

As more people start work from home during this period, there is a spike in electricity usage during work hours. More people are plugging in their laptops, mobiles, televisions and chargers during the day, as families are keeping safe together at home.

That’s why RK Solar is actively helping our customers save on electricity bills by installing solar systems that will generate solar power and fuel their home. While we cannot control the events that happen around us, we can work towards building a more sustainable environment and a cleaner way of using energy.

Our July started off with us doing a 10.36kW solar system install for our customer in Annangrove, NSW. This system uses Trina solar panels and a SMA Sunny Tripower inverter.

The Sunny Tripower solar inverter comes with features that get you the maximum solar yield possible. With SMA ShadeFix technology, the inverter can minimize the effects of partial shade on your system, allowing optimum performance. SMA solar inverter users will be able to monitor their energy production with the help of the Sunny Portal mobile app.
