TAFE Scone Commercial Solar Installation - 21kW
Sometime back we installed a solar system for Merryland High School, New South Wales.
Recently, the RK Solar team installed a solar system for TAFE Scone, New South Wales.
The solar system was engineered and designed by the RK Solar team on specifications provided by the architect.
The solar systems used Trina solar panels, Sungrow inverter and Clenergy roof mounting system.

Trina Solar has been working in Australia since the early 2000’s and was established in 1997.
They have support staff in Sydney, Australia to cater for service & support. They are one of the most respected solar providers in Australia.
1. Small in size, big on power – Vertex S is a technologically-advanced and reliable solar panel that has a higher power density and is ideal for Australia. Vertex S panels are smaller and lighter, making it easier to handle and install on the rooftops of homes and SMEs.
2. Universal solution for residential and C&I rooftops – Trina Solar offers the Vertex S in several power sizes to best meet the needs of Australian customers. The 480-505W Vertex S modules have a high energy density and are lightweight (each weight 21kg and are 1.75m long and 1.09m wide). The Vertex S panel are designed to be compatible with existing mainstream optimizers, inverters and mounting systems. It is easy to be handled, transported and deployed.
3. High Efficiency – The Vertex S has a maximum power efficiency of 21.1%, achieved by incorporating break-through technologies first applied to Trina Solar’s utility-grade Vertex solar panels. The new technologies include Trina Solar’s larger size wafers which are 210mm in diameter. Trina Solar Vertex series also incorporates new packing technologies that minimises the space between each cell, further improving efficiency.
The multi-busbar technology, with the capability to increase the light absorption, is a perfect match with the large-area cell.
Technology integrations enable the Vertex to achieve the highest power generation capacity per watt.
It has stronger resistance against excessive temperature which is perfect for Australian weather. 1/3-cut cells can improve module reliality.
Sungrow was founded in 1997 and it is one of the most bankable brands when it comes to inverters. They are the leaders in the research and development of solar inverters with the largest dedicated R&D team in the industry
The SG Series is a lightweight string inverter which has wifi communications included in it.
The Sungrow residential inverters are cooled via passive cooling using a large heat sink which is on the rear side.

Earlier all Sungrow inverters used to come with 5-year warranty and an optional 10-year warranty. But in order to improve their customer service, Sungrow now offers 10-year warranty on most new generation inverters sold in Australia.
Monitoring- isolar Cloud
Sungrow inverters include wifi monitoring as standard on all models and uses cloud-based monitoring portal isolarcloud.
They have developed an app which works quite well.

Clenergy specialises in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of solar mounting gear.
