22Kw Solar System Installed At Multi-Unit Housing In Lakemba, Nsw, With Jinko Panels And Sungrow Inverters

At RK Solar, we are committed to delivering clean, reliable, and cost-effective solar energy solutions that support communities, promote energy independence, and contribute to a more sustainable future. With a focus on long-term value and environmental responsibility, we design and install solar systems that help reduce electricity costs while lowering carbon emissions.

Partnering with STC Consulting, we are proud to have completed three transformative solar installation projects for the Women’s Housing Company Ltd, an organisation dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing for women across New South Wales. These homes represent more than shelter – they are places of stability, hope, and opportunity for some of the most vulnerable members of our society.

Each project was carefully designed to meet the specific needs of multi-unit community housing, overcoming unique challenges such as tiled roofs, double-storey buildings, and shared energy infrastructures. Our team collaborated closely with STC consultants to ensure every system was optimised for maximum efficiency, safety, and reliability. The use of high-efficiency solar panels and trusted inverter technology means these homes now benefit from significantly reduced energy costs.

What makes these projects stand out is they provide residents with not only affordable energy but also peace of mind and a chance to actively participate in the clean energy transition.By integrating renewable solar power into community housing, RK Solar is helping to build a sustainable future.

Our partnership with the Women’s Housing Company Ltd shows how solar energy can drive positive change. It helps reduce emissions and support communities. This project reflects our ongoing mission to use solar technology for better environmental care, financial relief, and community wellbeing across New South Wales.

When you choose RK Solar, you are investing in more than just solar panels, you are helping create a brighter and cleaner future.

What We have Achieved –  Real Solar Impact in Women’s Housing

With every project we complete, our focus is clear, reduce energy stress, improve quality of life, and support a future where clean, affordable power is accessible to all.

Here is a closer look at how we have delivered on that promise –

Project 1

15.48kW System, Double-Storey Housing Complex, Lakemba

In 2023, RK Solar installed a 15.48kW rooftop solar system on a double-storey residential property managed by Women’s Housing Company in Lakemba.

This installation supported a secure housing facility for women, blending high-performance Trina Vertex S+ panels and Sungrow inverters on a complex tiled roof layout.

36 x Trina Vertex S+ 430W solar panels – known for their superior durability and high performance

6 x Sungrow SG2K-S inverters – providing efficient power conversion and real-time monitoring

Installation on a tiled roof, completed with safety measures and zero structural impact

Long-term energy savings for residents

Result, Peace of mind for women who deserve security, not rising power bills.

Project 2

22kW System, Multi-Unit Housing, Lakemba (2024)

In early 2024, RK Solar completed a larger 22kW solar installation at another multi-unit women’s housing complex in Lakemba.

Designed with 10 individual inverters and a shared common-area system, this project made solar benefits personal for each tenant.

– 50 x Jinko Tiger Neo panels

– 11 x Sungrow inverters

– Custom configuration for private and communal spaces

As a result, tenants see the benefits directly, greater control, lower bills, and cleaner energy.

Project 3

23.76kW System, 8-Unit Complex, Wiley Park (2024)

In mid-2024, RK Solar partnered again with STC Consulting to deliver a 23.76kW solar solution for an 8-unit housing development in Wiley Park.

A powerful solar solution for a multi-storey development designed to balance shared and private energy use.

54 x Jinko Tiger Neo N-type 440W solar panels – excellent performance in low-light and high-temperature conditions

9 x Sungrow SG2K-S inverters – powering each unit with reliable solar energy

Strategic rooftop design to maximise sun exposure and long-term output

Result – The complex now enjoys reduced operational costs and a smaller carbon footprint.
