RK Solar recently completed a solar and battery installation for Sandeep’s home in Kellyville, NSW. The system was designed to help the home generate more solar energy during the day, improve overall energy efficiency, and store extra electricity in a battery so it can be used later.

The solar panels for this project were supplied by Solar Juice Pty Ltd, an Australian solar equipment distributor. With a total installed capacity of 7.12 kW, the system provides reliable solar energy generation to support the home’s daily electricity needs.
To efficiently manage the electricity generated by the solar panels, the system uses the Sigenergy SigenStor EC 15.0TP inverter. The inverter is essential for converting the DC electricity produced by the solar panels into usable AC power, ensuring the home can reliably use its solar energy.
The installation also includes the Sigenergy Sigen Energy Gateway TP, a smart device that functions as both an energy meter and monitoring system. This allows Sandeep to see in real time how much solar energy is being produced, how much is stored in the battery, and how much electricity the home is consuming.
Sandeep’s home was fitted with 5 x Sigenergy SigenStor BAT 8.0 battery modules.
The batteries store excess solar energy produced during the day so it can be used later, particularly in the evening when electricity demand is higher.
