Richmond Kitchens’ Joinery Electricity Offset
PROJECT SUMMARY
Richmond Kitchens joinery is set in a picturesque valley in Richmond country. With no shade exposure, it’s an excellent place for a solar PV system. In this workshop they cut to shape kitchens, storage units, shop counters, bathroom vanities, wardrobes, kitchen appliances, and kitchen splashbacks.
The power tools create a high daytime electricity load which is offset by a 15.33kW solar system.
The solution
RK Solar worked with Richmond Kitchens to install 50 365W TrinaSolar panels. Why TrinsSolar? TrinaSolar are a well regarded solar panel manufacturer. They are exactly the nexus of cutting edge technology and cost effectiveness.
The system is overclocked so the inverter reaches peak efficiency faster. The result is more output as it starts earlier in the day and finishes operating later in the day.
The results
Their new system is set to save them $6,107.2 per year and be paid off in 2.3 years.
