Radiant Kitchens’ Joinery Electricity Offset
PROJECT SUMMARY
Radiant Kitchen’s joinery is located in an industrial area in South Windsor. With no shade exposure, it’s an excellent place for a solar PV system.
The combination of CAD, lighting, and precision power tools creates a high daytime electricity load.
As the business grew and electricity prices they saw rising electricity bills and knew they needed to find a way to turn that around. With solar, they could even turn their electricity spend into an asset that would reduce their electricity spend long term.
The solution
RK Solar worked with Radiant Kitchens to install 60 250W CSUN panels and a Fronius Symo 15kW string inverter.
The results
Their system is set to save them $5,264 per year and be paid off in 4 years. It will offset 21MWh of CO2 emissions.
