Lansvale Sports Club Installs 70kW Solar in Canley Vale NSW

PROJECT SUMMARY

Lansvale United Sports Club is the local community sports club in Canley Vale. In November 2018, the club installed solar to reduce their electricity costs. This frees up more resources for other needs.

Their new system is set to save them $16,841 per year and be paid off in 5 years.

Panels were installed at a 5% incline to facilitate easy cleaning by the rain. DC optimisers were installed to take advantage of the positive power tolerance of the Trina Solar panels. This also accommodates for partial incidental shading by clouds. Features included with this DC optimiser are module-level monitoring, and superior efficiency – at 99.5% DC to DC conversion.

Lansvale United Sports Club General Manager Leanne Dwarte says ‘I have had nothing but good dealings.’ ‘Everyone was very friendly and helpful with any questions that I had.’
