Lakebridge Mushrooms
PROJECT SUMMARY
Mushrooms are sensitive to climatic changes, temperature and pressure conditions. Hence, mushroom farmers put in that extra effort in growing mushrooms. Lakebridge Mushroom is one of the primary suppliers of mushrooms to super market chains across New South Wales.
The rising electricity costs, increasing price competition and other overhead costs forced Lakebridge Mushrooms to focus on reducing its increasing overhead charges without compromising on the quality of the product, i.e., the mushrooms. Electricity being one of the primary contributors to the increasing overhead costs, Lakebridge considered going solar, protecting both the environment’s health as well as their own business’s health.
After pursuing through the solar installers, they crossed paths with RK Solar, one of the most reliable, cost effective and CEC Approved Solar Retailer, with an industry background of 10 years. RK Solar has been in the business of solar installation for the past 10 years catering to both residential and commercial clientele.
RK Solar was awarded the tender for solar system installation at Lakebridge Mushrooms. Since Lakebridge was apprehensive about roof top solar system affecting the quality of the mushroom production, they opted for a ground mount system, which RK Solar installed much to the customer’s satisfaction. Some of the key details of Lakebridge Mushroom’s installation below.
