AIKO panels are recognised in the industry for their reliability, durability, and long-lasting performance, making them the perfect choice for this upgrade.
Each 470W panel offers higher output compared to standard panels, so he will receive more energy per square meter of roof space. This makes it easier to take full advantage of the space on his roof, even with a tile roof that can sometimes limit installation flexibility. The inverter is the heart of a solar system, converting the DC (direct current) electricity generated by the panels into AC (alternating current) electricity that powers your home. For his system, we recommended the SigenStor EC 10.0TP inverter. This top-tier inverter is known for its exceptional performance, efficiency, and reliability, ensuring that he gets the best possible energy conversion from his solar panels.
The SigenStor EC 10.0TP inverter is designed to handle high amounts of power output, making it the perfect match for the 6.58 kW system. 4.Energy Meter – Sigen Energy Gateway TP – Real-Time Energy Monitoring
To help him better understand his energy usage and optimise his solar system’s performance, we installed the Sigen Energy Gateway TP. This energy meter provides real-time data on solar energy production, consumption, and battery storage levels. By giving him visibility into how much energy he is using and storing, the energy meter helps him make informed decisions about when to use stored power or when to draw from the grid.

With a capacity of 8 kWh per unit, the 3 batteries together provide a total storage capacity of 24 kWh, ensuring that it has plenty of energy reserves to use during peak hours or at night.
This setup is particularly beneficial during times of high electricity demand or blackouts, ensuring that his home remains powered when the grid is down or when energy prices are at their highest. With these batteries, he can rely less on the grid and more on his own solar energy, ensuring consistent power availability and long-term savings.

Neil’s home presented a unique challenge – a double-storey structure with a tile roof. These types of roofs can be tricky to work with due to their slope and the limited space available for panel installation. However, we made sure to maximise the available roof space by carefully designing the layout to ensure optimal sunlight exposure for each panel.
