17.88kW Solar Installed at Coila Service Station, NSW

PROJECT SUMMARY

Coila Service Station installed solar in late 2018. This service station has made itself quite the tourist attraction, with its pink upturned Cessna plane and ‘Best prawns on the coast’ sign.

There’s also a seasonal prawn shop. With that comes to traffic and electricity demand. RK Solar worked with Coila to determine the right sized solar system for their needs.

RK Solar solution:

  • To offset the impact of the stacks at the top of the roof, P370 SolarEdge DC Optimisers were installed.
  • The inverters are slightly undersized to take advantage of the early morning and late afternoon sunlight.
  • 4kW export
